CENTRALISED ONLINE ADMISSION FOR CHILDREN BELONGING TO ECONOMICALLY WEAKER SECTION AND DISADVANTAGED GROUPS (EWS & DG) FOR THE ACADEMIC SESSION 2024-25 IN GOVERNMENT AIDED AND UNAIDED RECOGNISED PRIVATE (NON-MINORITY) SCHOOLS OF UT CHANDIGARH AS PER THE PROVISIONS OF THE RIGHT OF CHILDREN TO FREE AND COMPULSORY EDUCATION (RTE) ACT, 2009 AND THE CAPITAL OF PUNJAB (DEVELOPMENT & REGULATION) ACT, 1952 AND RULES/SCHEMES/GUIDELINES/POLICY ISSUED THEREUNDER AND AS AMMENDED FROM TIME TO TIME.
- For facilitating online admission in the Govt. Aided and Unaided Recognised Private (Non- Minority) Schools of UT Chandigarh, the forms for online admission in the Govt. Aided and Unaided Recognised Private (Non-Minority) Schools of UT Chandigarh can only be filled from any Govt. Aided and Unaided Recognised Private (Non-Minority) Schools of UT Chandigarh, or any Govt. School of UT Chandigarh where the teachers will guide the parents and check the documents before filling the form online. This will be at Zero-fee to the parents.
- The online admission process for EWS/DG in Govt. Aided and Unaided Recognised Private (Non- Minority) Schools of UT Chandigarh will start from 10.01.2024 with the following schedule:

Admission Pre Nursery, Nursery & Class I for 2024-25
The details regarding admissions for entry level class i.e. Pre Nursery for the session 2024-25 are given in the Admission Form.
- Dates for submitting the admission forms for General and EWS – 7th to 20th December 2023.
- Time of accepting filled forms: - 8:30 am to 1:30 pm.
- Place for submission:- School Reception.
- List of eligible EWS Candidates will be finalized by 16th January 2024.
- The date of the draw for the final and waiting EWS candidates will be posted on the school website and school notice board.
- The Final and waiting list of EWS candidates will be displayed by 2nd February 2024.

- Proof of Residence in Chandigarh for at least three years proceeding to the 1st of April of the academic year in which admission is sort. (Copy of Ration Card/ Voter I-Card/ Electricity Bill/ Water Bill/ Gas Connection/Valid Driving License etc.)
- Attested copy of Birth Certificate or any document prescribed by the Chandigarh Administration.
- Copy of family annual income certificate issued by the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (Annual Family income should not exceed Rs.1,50,000 per annum).
- Copy of Aadhaar card of candidate and parents.
- Latest Passport size photo of candidate.
