Aims and Objectives

Managing Committee
The school is being managed by Managing Committee duly approved by the Education Department, Chandigarh.
The Managing Committee takes active interest and displays positive commitment for the betterment of the school.
School Managing Committee
School Managing Committee is constituted every year for the management of internal affairs of the School like supervision of working of teachers, Mid-Day Meal, Maintaining discipline in students, School development and other matters from time to time, for which various sub- committees have been constituted.
Campus
The school has a spacious and well furnished building with sprawling lawns, play grounds, well equipped library,laboratories and computer labs.
Lush green lawns are well maintained with decorative plants and flowers adding to the beauty and ambience of the campus.
C.C.T.V. Cameras have been installed in all the class rooms, corridors, main gate and playgrounds. An audio visual room has been set up for activity based learning.
Curriculum
The school is achieving almost 100% results every year. The school is recognized and aided by the U.T.
Administration and is affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi for Secondary and Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination under 10+2 system. The school is co-education from Nursery to Class XII.
The medium of instruction is English and Hindi.
Class V To VIII : English, Maths, Science, Social Science, Sanskrit, Drawing, Hindi/Punjabi {1st and 2nd Language}, E.V.S.
Class IX & X : English {Course A} Maths, Social Science, Science, Hindi, Sanskrit, Punjabi, Physical Education, Art Education, Work Experience (Computer Training), E.V.S.
CLASS XI and XII : School offers all streams Medical, Non Medical, Commerce and Arts. A student is required to select 5 subjects for the opted stream (1 Core & 4 Electives)

NOTE:-
- As per C.B.S.E. by-laws there is no upper limit to the number of subjects a student may offer but because of administrative constraints, school does not provide teaching facilities in more than five subjects.
- In no case a student is allowed to change any subject in Class XII as per C.B.S.E. rules.
- A student can take one additional subject in class XI-XII, for which separate fees will be charged.
- In class XI a student can change her/his subject before 31st October with the approval of the Principal.
- No provision will be made for subject opted by less than 5 students.
- The candidate who is placed in compartment in class X shall be admitted provisionally to class XI till she/he takes first chance Compartment Exam of that year. His/her admission shall be treated as cancelled if he/she fails to pass at the first chance Compartment Examination.
